FACILITIES UNIT LEADER (FACL)

The Facilities Unit Leader (FACL) sets up, maintains, and demobilizes all facilities, and provides facility maintenance and security services in support of incident operations.

(1) Review Common Responsibilities.

(2) Obtain a briefing from the Logistics Section Chief (LSC).

(3) Participate in Logistics Section planning activities.

(4) Assess requirements for each facility to be established.

(5) Determine requirements for the Incident Command Post (ICP).

(6) Prepare and distribute layouts of incident facilities.

(7) Activate incident facilities.

(8) Obtain personnel to operate facilities.

(9) Provide sleeping facilities.

(10) Provide facility maintenance services, e.g., sanitation, lighting, etc.

(11) Demobilize incident facilities.

(12) Maintain records.

(13) Submit reports to the Logistics Section Chief (LSC).
