Deputy Sheriff Isaac Nava (Chaves County Sheriff’s Office) recommends placement of a temporary stop sign or flagger at the passive railroad crossing (without any gates/arms) over Navajo Road in Hagerman to ensure the safety of response vehicles transiting to/from the pipeline leak site. Deputy Nava indicates this is a heavily-trafficked rail line, used by BNSF. This is a Drill!
